We are excited to announce the GCF / GoPlay / family.fit meetings which will take place in Farol IBMAlphaville in Brazil from lunchtime on Monday 20th March through to breakfast on Saturday 25th March 2023.

So much has happened over the last few years, where travel has not been possible and in many ways we are still adapting to how things have changed. Join us for a precious few days to pray, explore, learn and create together as we continue to seek God’s Kingdom, striving to see children everywhere walking with Jesus.

The forum will run alongside teams from GoPlay and family.fit, as together we serve children, young people and families and have a special focus on investing in younger leaders. We will also be exploring how we can build together as learning communities, incubating infectious ideas together and includes a special focus on investing in younger leaders.

There has been growing momentum around the needs of families and how we can best serve them alongside children. Recent discussions have posed the challenge of how might we see a million families embracing what it means to think and act missionally. As we look at the needs around us in our world, and as we come together as Kingdom partners, could we even begin to imagine how we could see God open the way to equip 100 million missional families?

We have a vision for children everywhere walking with Jesus. And our meetings in Brazil will build on that in the context of the following areas:

  • Leadership
    • Release young leaders to pioneer the season ahead
    • Connect mentors and mentees, widening the leadership development
    • Develop multiplication strategies for the Leadership Experience
  • Learning Community Regional Pilots
    • Connect and accelerate regional learning communities in Latin America, Africa, Asia and Europe
    • Integrate the Leadership Experience as a GCF DNA multiplication strategy
  • Innovation
    • Build hybrid FlashLab teams to innovate around key projects (family.fit, Leadership Experience, Family, Regions, Academia)
  • Collaboration
    • Explore how GCF, GoPlay and family.fit can collaborate across multiple initiatives

Our meetings will take place at the Farol IBMAlphaville located here:

The Farol IBMAlphaville is situated 67 km from Sāo Paulo International Airport (GRU).

Important Notes

  • All prices below are in US dollars.
  • Our meetings will start at 1.00pm on Monday 20th March. Please arrive in time for the start of the meetings.
  • Our meetings will finish at 6.00pm on Friday 24th March. Please plan to stay for the duration of our meetings and arrange your return travel after the meetings have ended.

For coming from outside Brazil:

  • You will need to provide evidence of Covid-19 vaccination, or recent negative test result.
  • You will need to provide travel insurance.
  • Your passport must be valid for six months after your date of entry.

Transport to / from airport:

  • We will provide transport from the main Sāo Paulo international airport (GRU) to the venue for any arrivals on Sunday 19th or on Monday 20th. The airport is approximately one hour drive from the venue. If you arrive outside of that time you may need to arrange your own transport such as Uber.
  • We will provide return transport to the main Sāo Paulo international airport (GRU) from the venue for any departures on the evening of Friday 24th or on Saturday 25th. If your departure is outside of that time you may need to arrange your own transport such as Uber.
  • Transport from the airport will be in groups of arrivals. You may need to wait at the airport for a short period of time whilst others arrive. Similarly transport back to the airport will be groups of departures.
